The Cinque Terre National Park was established in 1999 by a decree of the President of the Republic.
The primary aim of the park is to recover and safeguard the historical, cultural and environmental values of the area through viticulture, the only human activity capable of preserving this heritage, guaranteeing the persistence of typical local production.<\/p>\n\n
The inaccessibility of the area has facilitated the nesting of birds, such as the Peregrine Falcon, while the presence of streams and brooks has created an ideal habitat for various types of amphibians.<\/p>\n\n
In recent years, the number of visitors has increased exponentially, which is why Agenda 21’s work focuses on sustainable tourism, promoting the project of environmental quality labelling of accommodation facilities, so that in addition to providing a good quality service, they also provide a service that is compatible with the protection of the environment and natural resources.<\/p>\n\n
The ability to control and reduce the environmental impacts associated with tourist accommodation activity is in fact an essential requirement to ensure that the activity itself is maintained in the park area.<\/p>\n\n
With the aim of preserving and monitoring the territory, the \u201cCinque Terre Card\u201d was established in 2001, the proceeds of which will be allocated by the Park Authority to the development of projects for the recovery and maintenance of the territory and to enable mobility services within it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":736,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_uag_custom_page_level_css":""},"class_list":["post-801","posto-vicino","type-posto-vicino","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
