57th La Spezia International Jazz Festival
The 57th La Spezia International Jazz Festival will take place from 13 to 25 July 2025, transforming the city into a vibrant stage for music lovers and visitors alike. With a history dating back to 1969, this festival is Italy’s longest-running jazz festival, keeping musical tradition and innovation alive.

- 13 July: Opening with Marcus Miller, legendary bassist and winner of two Grammy Awards, known for his fusion of jazz, funk and soul
- 14 July: Performance by the trio composed of Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci and Adam Cruz, leading figures in contemporary jazz.
- 15 July: Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson’s legendary band, will perform a one-off concert in Italy to present their new album, Curious Ruminant.
- 18 July: Performance by John Scofield’s Long Days Quartet, featuring new groove compositions and reinterpretations of iconic songs.
- 19 July: Concert by Fabio Concato & I Musici as part of the ‘Altro di me 2025’ tour.
- 20 July: Performance by Incognito, pioneers of acid jazz, led by Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick.
- 25 July: Grand finale with Stewart Copeland and the project ‘Police Deranged for Orchestra’, an orchestral reinterpretation of songs by The Police
