The flavours, aromas and colours of Ligurian wines take centre stage once again with ‘Liguria da Bere’

Every year in June, the heart of the city – between Corso Cavour and Piazza Beverini – comes alive with Liguria da Bere, an event celebrating DOC and IGT wines from the four provinces of Liguria. It is an unmissable opportunity to taste, discover and be captivated by the region’s excellent wines.

The province of La Spezia, with over 600 hectares of prized vineyards – the largest wine-growing area in Liguria – leads this sensory journey, confirming its status as a benchmark for promoting good, healthy and conscious drinking.

At the stands set up along the route, visitors can taste wines directly from the producers, who guide the public in discovering the unique characteristics of each label. To complete the experience, the typical flavours of Ligurian food and wine enrich the offering and tell the story of the region through taste.

‘Liguria da Bere’ is also an opportunity to rediscover the value and quality of Ligurian wines, which are now recognised internationally. The emblem of this success is Sciacchetrà, the famous golden passito wine from the Cinque Terre, now appreciated by connoisseurs all over the world.
