The Frecce Tricolori fly over La Spezia: on 10 August, a spectacular show in the skies above the Gulf of Poets

An event that combines national pride, excitement and spectacle: on Sunday 10 August 2025, La Spezia will welcome the legendary Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force’s National Aerobatic Team, for a display that will colour the sky above the Gulf of Poets with the trails of the Italian tricolour.

Starting at 6 p.m., all eyes will be looking skyward to admire the spectacular manoeuvres of the pilots of the 313th Aerobatic Training Group, true stars of the air, who will put on a breathtaking show of precision, speed, adrenaline and perfect synchronisation.

The seafront, Piazza Europa and the entire coastal area will offer ideal vantage points from which to enjoy the spectacle, eagerly awaited by thousands of residents and tourists alike. The passage of the Frecce Tricolori is not only a visually stunning moment, but also a symbol of unity, excellence and Italian spirit.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Municipality of La Spezia and the Italian Air Force, and is part of the rich calendar of summer initiatives that enliven the city.
